Question: are we all a different kind of blind?O.o

  1. Haha, is this related to the “do we all see the world differently”?

I don’t think we are, most people’s eyes seem the same, and most importantly we all agree on the way the world looks. As long as we can all communicate and agree about what the world looks like, nothing else really matters!

  2. I think I agree with Mike. Our eyes do all work the same and does it matter if the colour I call blue looks different to me than the colour you call blue? If someone pointed to it we would both call it blue.

We are certainly blind compared to some animals though!

  1. This is an interesting thought provoking question. I remember teaching Chemistry at University to a blind student and she taught me to see. It was one of the most amazing teaching experiences I have had. One of my colleagues puts forth a concept of plant blind in his Plants and Peoples Module.
