Question: do you believe in vampires?

I don’t believe that there are vampires if you are talking about creatures that look like humans but have to feed on blood to survive.

There are however vampire animals out there like vampire bats that need to feed on blood to survive (see this wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire_bat )

The process of feeding on blood is called ‘hematophagy’ and when you think about it there are quite a few creatures that do this including insects like midges and mosquitoes! It is much rarer in other groups of animals and I think the only mammals that do it are the 3 species of vampire bats
