• Question: Hi Mike, this is Kate's Partner(her account), Aaron. I was just wondering about a question. How difficult is the programming for ARGENTINA(or whatever the name was, sorry)?

      Haha, it’s ANGELINA!

The nice thing about making ANGELINA is that there is always something to do. Some parts are very tough – one job I have on my ‘to-do’ list is getting ANGELINA to look at a level design and work out how hard it is to play. That’s really tough and I’ll have to read around to get some ideas.

But there are other easier or more fun things to do too. For instance, I’m going to be working on getting ANGELINA to get more information from newspaper articles to think up ideas for games. So I’m going to use someone else’s research to let ANGELINA find out when two things are related in an article. If someone says “The Prime Minister criticised Michael Cook today.” then hopefully ANGELINA can find “Prime Minister”, “Michael Cook” and link them, to understand that one is doing something to the other.

So it’s a mix of easy and hard. But it’s almost all fun! 🙂
