      Luckily when finding the answer to your “how cold is the moon” question I also found the answer to this one: if you drew a line from one side to the other through the centre the line would be 3 476 000 metres long (so just over 3 million miles!)

      Which makes it about 3.5 times smaller than the Earth around which it revolves…
