• Question: how do we get yellow teeth????

      I’m not sure! I wonder if Emma might know (the mouth contains lots of bacteria which might play a part).

      I know that coffee and wine can stain your teeth, but hopefully you don’t drink too much of either of those!

      I don’t know much more than Mike I’m afraid:

      -there are some food/drink substances that stain our teeth yellow
      -tobacco (from cigarettes) stains our teeth
      -not brushing your teeth and removing the bacteria that grow on them can make your teeth look yellow
      -if you get disease in your tooth (for example, if there is a hole in your tooth then bacteria can get into the centre of the tooth. Here the bacteria can start damaging the tissue of the tooth and so the tissue starts to go yellow-brown)

      That’s pretty much all I know about this subject though – good question
