At the moment scientists generally estimate that the core temperature is somewhere between about 3800 degrees C and 6600 degrees C (so very very very hot).
It’s really difficult to tell because we can’t measure the temperature directly so scientists have had to do all sorts of complicated experiments to try to work it out. They are still doing these experiments so maybe in the future we will be able to be a bit more precise!
Same here, I also had to do some googling. What I found out is that the Earth’s core is thought to be (clearly you can’t just check) about the same as the surface of the sun, around 5430 degrees C. But it’s all based on theoretical calculations.
