• Question: how many plaent are there

      I think that there are technically now 8 planets because Pluto doesn’t count as a planet any more.

      I was taught the order my learning the sentence:

      My Very Easy Method Just Say Ur Nine Planets

      And the first letter of each of those words is the first letter of the planet so from the sun out it goes

      Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto

      But obviously that doesn’t work any more because since leaving school scientists have decided that Pluto doesn’t count!

      I’m going to plump for eight planets too. Some people got very attached to Pluto and were sad when it was demoted from being a planet!
