• Question: if i got into a rocket, and went up and up and never, ever stopped, where would i end up?

      One theory about the universe is that it doesn’t have an end to it – it’s a bit like travelling on the surface of Earth. Eventually, if you kept flying in your rocket forever and ever, you’d just end up where you started!

      No-one’s managed to do it, of course, because space is so impossibly huge! But that one idea says that you’d keep flying forever!

      I don’t know the answer but the theory Mike is talking about sounds fascinating

      Wow, that’s a fascinating thought experiment. I guess like finding out about what is in the centre of the Earth, we have to make indirect measurements to work this sort of thing out.
