• Question: If sun reflects on a mirror why does it have to bounce off the mirror in stead of going inside?

This is a really good question 🙂

Most objects reflect light (thats why we seem them as different colours) BUT they only reflect bits of the light. They don’t reflect all of it. Mirrors reflect all of the light and in really good quality which is why we see a reflection.

The reason that mirrors reflect the light in such good quality is due to the stuff they are made from – the metal (eg. silver) is polished until it is very smooth.
