• Question: is it true that bactera can servive lava??

      I don’t know if there are any that can survive in lava but there are certainly some that can survive in really high temperatures. I know of 1 species that likes to grow at 100 degrees C (the temperature that water boils)!

      Apparently when lava first comes out of a volcano it is at around 700 degrees C and I don’t think there are any bacteria that could live in that but they might be able to survive as it cools down.
