• Question: is the water on mars drinkible?????

      Oooh that’s a really good question!

      I guess it would depend on what rocks the water (which is found as ice) has previously run through or over. It might have picked up minerals that would be toxic to us.

      I wonder if any of the other scientists know more…

      An interesting question, and I’m not sure I’m able to add anymore to Emma’s sensible answer. The water itself will be the same as water on earth (i.e. H2O, two hydrogens and an oxygen), but its drinkability will depend on what is mixed in with it.
