Sadly the moon is not made of cheese as it is shown to be in Wallace and Gromit’s A Grand Day Out 🙁

It is in fact made up mostly of iron, with some other elements as well (although I don’t know enough to be more specific – perhaps one of the other scientists can help out?)

When I saw the answer, the answer cheese came to my mind for some unexplainable reason. I, of course, knew that it wasn’t the true answer, but I am glad Emma has now told me where the reference to the moon and cheese has come from.
