• Question: why do we break more bones in sports?

      I guess the answer to this is that doing sport puts our bones and muscles under more pressure than just walking around. You are also more likely to injure yourself if you bang into something at high speed than if you do it slowly (which I guess is why footballers are always breaking bones in their feet whilst the rest of us tend not to!)
