• Question: Why do we have different coloured hair?

      The colours in our hair are produced by the different levels of a pigment called melanin that you find in the hair. Melanin is black so I think that the more melanin you have in your hair the darker your hair is.

      Why do some of us have more melanin than others? I don’t know, except that because we all have slightly different DNA we are all slightly different.
