Sci-fi is a very popular genre in lots of media – books, films, as well as games. As our world becomes more technological and advanced, people get more and more excited about what the future might hold! In the 1950s people were extremely excited about what might happen in the year 2000. Many of the things they hoped for never happened, but other amazing things they could never have dreamed of are now very common to us.

Change is exciting, and science is something that is very mysterious and special to lots of people. People are right to be excited too – science is making amazing things happen in the world around us! It’s fun to wonder what might happen one day. Do you like sci-fi games? Why do you think you like them?

Another reason I think sci-fi is very popular is because it allows us to escape into a completely different world. I don’t have many sci-fi games but I do read/watch a lot of sci-fi and I like it because it takes me to a new place where none of the stuff that is going on in my life exists so I can forget my worries/concerns for a bit.

Do you like watching sci-fi as well as playing games?
