• Question: why is the world so round???

      This is a really good question.

      When all the bits of matter that would eventually make up the world started to come together this created a gravitational force (basically, any large body of mass attracts things to it, and this is gravity). Because gravity was pulling equally in all directions the matter became arranged so that it is a sphere (well, nearly a sphere).
