• Question: how do tablets that prevent you from being sick work?

      Great question although I’m afraid it isn’t a simple answer.

      There are lots of different ways tablets can stop you feeling sick.

      Some tablets act on the brain, some act on the central nervous system and some act on the gastrointestinal tract (our guts).

      They also act in different ways. This is because there are several things that can make us sick (eg. eating something bad, motion sickness, other drugs) and it is quite a complicated pathway from these triggers to the actual muscle movements that make us sick. The different drugs act at different points in this pathway.
