      What are turtle backs, this is the first I’ve heard of them?

      As for hemangioma, I had to look this up, but apparently it is a bening (i.e. harmless) swelling of blood vessels to cause small red growths on the skin or deeper down in your body.       Blanka’s covered what I know about hemangiomas.

      I had a search for turtle backs and the only thing I can come up with is tortoise shell/turtle back liver which is a description of what the liver looks like in some dieases – is that the sort of thing you mean?
