• Question: Why do we breath air?

      Our cells need oxygen to make energy from nutrients. They get the oxygen because it is carried around by our blood. Air has quite a bit of oxygen in it so when we breathe air into our lungs the oxygen passes through our lungs into our blood stream.

      Without air we would not get the oxygen we need to survive.
